During a Lock the Basement hiatus caused by vocal issues and a writer’s block I decided to try the “old way”. When I was younger I just used to create collages of riffs, and it wasn’t great.

It all started from a challenge: trying to write, record and mix an EP of unsellable / anti-pop / nerdy / silly riff based instrumental tracks.
All in my bedroom. It looked like the recipe for disaster, but I've enjoyed the exercise a lot, and I think it turned out unexpectedly well. I tried to make riff salads interesting again, did I make it?
